WHEEL SEAL – Remove & Replace – F250 Super Duty,F350 Super Duty Semi-Floating Axle,One Side,w/Limited Slip
Inspect hoses and clamps. Pressure test cooling system. Flush engine, radiator, and heater core. Bring antifreeze to -35 degrees. PH balance coolant to between 9.8 to 10.5. Check thermostat and electric cooling fan operation. TEST DRIVE AFTER SERVICE.

P0420- CATALYST SYSTEM EFFICIENCY BELOW THRESHOLD BANK 2 CHECK OVER PIDS AND FOUND THE SYSTEM RUNNING A BIT RICH WITH THE CATALYTIC CONVERTERS READING RIGHT ON THE EDGE OF PASSING AND NEEDING REPLACEMENT. PULLED A SPARK PLUG AND FOUND IT WAS ORIGINAL. A TUNE UP MIGHT BE ENOUGH TO MAKE THE TRUCK HAPPY AGAIN.

CHECKED THE FUNCTION OF THE CALIPERS AND HOSES. EVERYTHING IS WORKING IN ORDER. THE FACE OF THE PISTON HAD RUST BUILD UP POSSIBLY CAUSING THE NOISE. BOTH CALIPER PISTONS AND SURFACES WERE SANDED DOWN AND GREASED WHERE THEY MAKE CONTACT WITH THE BRAKE PAD. CALIPER BRACKET HARDWARE AND SLIDE PINS WERE ALSO CLEANED AND LUBED. CUSTOMER HAS INSTALLED DRILLED AND SLOTTED ROTORS WHICH ARE KNOWN TO BE NOISY. REAR BRAKES ARE LUBRICATED AND WORKING AS THEY SHOULD.
